A finely crafted Black Forest centre table, circa 1900, featuring an oval tilt-top design intricately inlaid with marquetry scenes of deer and forest wildlife. The central medallion is framed by scrolling acanthus motifs and bordered with detailed marquetry cartouches. The top edge is hand-carved to resemble natural bark, resting on a richly carved linden tripod base with cabriole legs and foliate detailing. A striking example of late 19th to early 20th-century Black Forest craftsmanship—ideal as a statement piece or collector’s table.
Previous signs of woodwoorm that has been treated. Tilt top mechanism perfectly functional.
